This summer will be my first ever convention, so excited :) I will be attending London Film And Comic Con at Olympia London from Friday 28th of July till Sunday 30th of July. Open each day from 9am - 6pm.
London Film & Comic Con promises to bring you some of your favourite stars from TV, Film and Comics as well as a whole host of fun activities including photo shoots, panels, autograph sessions and hundreds of stalls full of TV and Film memorabilia to browse.
Also run at the con is YALC (Young Adult Literature Convention) fantastic authors, publishers and readers for three packed days of author events, writing workshops, book signings, book-themed activities and more!
When I write this 26/05/17 there are 93 Film and TV guests attending, 4 wrestling guests, 24 comic writers and/or artists, 108 authors attending YALC, 2 celebratory cosplay guests.

there are different entry tickets you can buy Child Entry, YALC for early entry to YALC you can only access the rest of the show from 10am. You can buy a family ticket, Afternoon entry ticket, you can also buy a 3 day entry ticket and a 3 day YALC ticket, you can get a gold pass which costs more but you get a Goody bag, Early entry 5 minutes before general entry tickets, and other advantages for talks and autographs please read the detailed info on the site to help you decide which is best for you. Either print off your ticket or you can show them on the door off your phone or tablet.
I have got a 3 day entry ticket :)
You can purchase Diamond Passes. The Diamond Pass Upgrade is tailor made to the guest specified. This pass DOES NOT include entry so please purchase entry tickets or a Gold Pass to validate it.
Each Diamond pass is detailed on the website and they can contain Dog Tag for the guest, a standard photo opportunity, sometimes special photo opportunities with a prop or something connected to the guest, guaranteed in-person autograph sometimes 2, Priority seat to a talk given by the guest, sometimes a limited LFCC poster, sometimes a mug. I think that is all I have seen described in a Diamond pass.
You can book photo sessions with the guests, sometimes you can get group photo sessions and/or with a prop or set from a show/film the guest(s) are connected to.
Talks can also be pre-booked some are free, currently there is one paid for talk on Friday, 8 on Saturday, 10 on Sunday.
Cosplay zone many people attend LFCC in cosplay outfits of there favourite stars. Cosplay Guests, workshops, panels and the always entertaining Showmasters Cosplay Masquerade at each of our events, you’re guaranteed to have a fantastic day out whether you’re in a costume or not! Showmasters have a grand prize they give out to the main winner each day of the con.
Comic Zone a place for all things comics! Meet the pros, collect rare issues and even take part in master classes. Everything for the comic fan can be found here! This is your chance to meet top writers and artists from around the world, to hear them talk about their careers or just get a favourite comic signed or buy a print or bespoke sketch.
Video gaming Zone a place to play retro to modern VR gaming.

Walk the many aisles selling everything from the obscure to the hot new thing.
