I seem to be going in circles trying to decide what to do about Autographs. I have 4 options;
1) Just get the 10x8 supplied at the signing table, this is probably the easiest option. But you take the chance that they have a photo that you like.
2) Bring something with me specific to the guest for them to sign, like a steelbook, Poster, Box Set. The downside to taking something to be signed is having to carry it around all day, and when I have photo shoots and talks could be awkward.
3) Get a poster for a group of people to sign like Doctor Who, Game Of Thrones, Star Wars.
4) I have seen an antique looking fine Italian paper journal, which would look really Nice :) I could ask the guests to sign my book, one of the advantages of this would be having all the auto's in one place. The down side of course would be the extra cost and not getting a photo or something to identify who has signed the page. I have thought about writing on the top of each page ready for the guests to sign. I would try to put people that have been in the same shows/films together. This would probably be the most unique option, maybe something the guests don't see a lot or at all, they must get sick of signing the same things. Possibly also would give me and the guests something to talk about, I am majorly worried about getting star struck.
I think I have almost decided to rule out option 3. I am now between either option 4 or doing a mixture of 1 & 2 if I have something to be signed get that done if not get a 10x8.
I will now narrow down the guests that I want to get autographs from. I still have others that are Maybes ;)
Tom Skerritt and Veronica Cartwright - I have a cool Alien poster with a egg on it.
Adam West - I have the box set of Batman 60's TV series which I could get signed.
Christopher Lloyd - Back to the future Steelbook or I could get Who Framed Roger Rabbit Steelbook.
Ron Perlman - (If I go for the Diamond Pass I get 2 things signed) I have Hellboy 1 & 2 Steelbook, and I guess I would just get a 10x8 or if I got the book it would mean I could also get the steelbook signed.
Will Wheaton - I have The complete series of Star Trek TNG on Blu-Ray, but I also have Stand By Me Steelbook, but I guess TNG is the most memorable/iconic role.
Mike Colter - Would probably just have to be a 10x8 if I bother I do think this Autograph is Pricey.
Finn Jones - Would be a 10x8 but would be cool in my book with other Game Of Thrones guests.
Alan Tudyk - I have seen Rogue One on Disney Big Sleeve Edition which looks cool it has the character he plays on the cover, these are Record/LP size. But I also love Firefly which I have the boxset of these.
Tricia Helfer - a 10x8
Richard Dean Anderson - I have the complete series of Stargate SG1 but it is a bit big. So could just get a 10x8. Also is a bit pricey.
Kristian Nairn - a 10x8
Jessica Henwick - a 10x8
Conleth Hill - Would be a 10x8, but he is only their one day and I think he could be very hard to get. Also is a bit pricey.
Ian McDiarmid - Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi Steelbook, which has a picture of the emperor on it, would look smashing with the emperors autograph on it ;) Although he is a bit pricey I really want this one above most others.
Syvester McCoy - Probably a 10x8
Colin Baker - Probably a 10x8
Indira Varma - a 10x8
Gemma Whelan - a 10x8
Daniel Portman - a 10x8
Robert Llwellyn - Red Dwarf Steelbooks I have 2 lol. or a 10x8 of him as Kryton in Red Dwarf.
I added these Autographs up and they came to £675, but some of them I haven't decided whether to go diamond or not ;) I would really like to get this price down, the easiest way would be not to get some of the pricier and if I went for Diamonds for some it would cost less on the day.
I have thought of a Option 5 lol. I have got Photo Sessions booked with a lot of the guests, so I could get the photo of me and the celebrity signed. Nooooooooo! More decisions to make lol.
That's All for now! I will go thru which Photo Sessions I have booked and am still considering next.
GR.
